Democrats, Republicans, Athiests, Christians, is the following statement true or false....................?

A Christian is someone that believes God exists.

(Please state true or false. I have an important follow up question to ask, but first I want everyone to answer either true or false to this, then I will add the rest of my question in the additional details... Thank you.)Democrats, Republicans, Athiests, Christians, is the following statement true or false....................?
True. Another way of phrasing this question, for a logical analysis, would be:

If a person is Christian then they believe that God exists (Note that it is not necessary to qualify this. If you're Christian, you believe in God. That's a simple, valid, and sound argument).

C %26gt; B

Now, Modus Ponens tells us that if it is true that a person is Christian then it is true that they believe in God.

C//B

Likewise, Modus Tollens tells us that if a person does not believe that God exists then they are not a Christian.

~B//~C

So the atheist is wrong. If a Christian is one who believes in God, which would seem pretty easy to prove via the Bible, then you cannot be a Christian atheist. Logic forbids it.Democrats, Republicans, Athiests, Christians, is the following statement true or false....................?
False- Anybody can believe God exists but that doesn't make them a Christian. Satan knows God exists.

Being a Christian means Christ-like. In order to be a true Christian, you have to believe that Christ died for your sins and to accept Him into your life and live the way God wants you to live.

You cannot be a Christian Atheist. an Athiest is one who denies the existence of God. Well, if you don't think God exists, then how can you say Jesus existed as well? Doesn't matter if one thinks Jesus was just a man or not. God and Jesus are one in the same.
Well, Christianity is a monotheistic religion, so it is based on the fact that God exists. The same goes for Islam and Judaism. The only difference between the three is when and where God revealed his message to man, as well as some of the structure of the religion. Atheism is the complete opposite, stating God doesn't exist.
Chritianity is religion based on the teachings of Christ, that is why it is called CHRISTianity.
False. You don't have to be a Christian to believe in God. A Christian may belong to one of the dozens of different denominations and sects that practices a Christian religion. I think They all agree the Jesus died on the Cross and a few other things.
False. To be a Christian you must wholeheartedly believe in God and that Jesus is his son came down from heaven to deliver us from our sins. You cannot just simply believe in God to be a Christian, Jew, or Muslim, you must believe in God and follow his laws.
False. A christian is someone who believes in christ and believes in what he taught. But I would say 99.9 percent of all christians also believe in god and most believe he is his son. P.S. I'm an atheist
It is half true, Christians also believe that Jesus freed us from sin. I am a Catholic and an Independent.
A Christian believes God exists, but you don't have to be a Christian to believe in God. Christians believe Jesus died for our sins.
True.

edit:

';Christian atheist'; is an oxymoron, but there is such thing as a Christian agnostic.
Christianity is not the only religion that believes in the existence of God.
A Christian believes God exists but also accepts Jesus Christ as their saviour.
That is hard to answer. You are not Christian only because you believe in God, but if you are Christian you do believe in God.
neither

they believe in god, but that doesn't make them christian

your definition fits jews %26amp; muslims too.
False, a Christian believes Jesus Christ exists.
Religion has no place in politics
TRUE
True.
I know where you're going with this. But, true.
Both and neither.
True.

Christian Atheist sounds like an oxymoron to me too.
I assume that when you say ';Christian,'; you don't mean a Christian in name only....

YES.
A true Christian believes that Jesus Christ died for our sins and was resurrected.

False
wow was it? cause all the people in R%26amp;S would never say that
true
Definition of Atheist: someone who denies the existence of god

Christian - is one who follows Christ (Jesus Christ) 1 Messiah

Muslim and Jews are seperate religions.

So false, I guess - if I understand the question correctly. I mean if an Athiest is someone who doesn't believe that God exist how can you at the same time be a Christian who does believe in God and the Son?

You can follow Christan teaching and still not believe. another words you can be a good person yet still not believe in God. I have never heard of a Christian/Athiest...maybe it is the newest fad of religions you never know.

However, you either are a Christian or your not one there is no semi-Christianity. As far as I know you either are an Athiest or not one as well.

Now you can believe God exist and not be a Christian or Athiest.

Yet, being a Democrat or Republican is a seperate thing. Doesn't mean you are or are not a certain Religion.

Prettry complex. So anyway, I am saying false no Christian/Athiest but I guess if they want to call them selves that whatever.
