Do you think or believe that this statement is true or false and Why?

God is never going to give you too much you can not handle.Do you think or believe that this statement is true or false and Why?
WARNING OF RIGHTS

1. You have the right to remain silent and refuse to answer questions. Do you understand?

2. Anything you do say may be used against you in a court of law. Do you understand?

3. You have the right to consult an attorney before speaking to the police and to have an attorney present during questioning now or in the future. Do you understand?

4. If you cannot afford an attorney, one will be appointed for you before any questioning if you wish. Do you understand?

5. If you decide to answer questions now without an attorney present you will still have the right to stop answering at any time until you talk to an attorney. Do you understand?

6. Knowing and understanding your rights as I have explained them to you, are you willing to answer my questions without an attorney present?Do you think or believe that this statement is true or false and Why?
False - just looking at the number of people who have mental breakdowns (1 is enough).

Also, how do you tell that to the people that are raped, tortured, or murdered? They can handle it?
i believe that statement; only a father can know the capabilities of his sons and daughters. and some people needed to be humbled once in while, or be given life's lessons. but if u look at it, yes, all those who had the prob handled them to the end, right?
God won't give you more than you can handle, IF God is in your life to help you with the burden.
false but maybe god does that for a reason
That's funny how youv'e mentioned this tonight,......I was just

watching a local preacher on tv yesterday about this same thing.

He said,'; God never gives you more than you can handle

THROUGH HIM';. Meaning......that with God, you can get through

anything. That Through Him.......we can handle anything.
okay, but we must realize God expects us to accuse him. if you will, and demand justice from Him.

Psalms ending in frustration

12 - all around the wicked strut about, as the vileness of the sons of men is exalted

38 - come quickly to help me , o lord my victory

39 - look away from me that I may rejoice again before I depart and am no more

44 - arise! Help us! And redeem us because of your lovingkindness

74 - do not ignore the clamor of yuor adversaries

79 - pay back into the laps of our neighbors seven times the reproach they have hurled at us, then we will praise you.

80 - restore us o YHWH make your face shine upon us again

82 - rise up o god judge the earth

88 - you have taken my companions and loved ones from me darkness is my closest friend

95 - god to people - they will never enter my rest

123 - we have endured much ridicule and contempt

137 - those who seize your (Babylon鈥檚) infants and dash them against the rocks

141 - let the wicked fall into their own nets

143 - destroy all my foes. For I am your servant
I think that verse is geared towards Christians. Since Christians have tho Holy Spirit there is nothing they cant handle. So yes I believe in that statement.
Dear Ladybugmac: Both.

God, Himself, does not give us anything to bear. He does not harm His Children or set up heavy trials for them. Life does this, itself. Then God is available to you through Jesus and the Holy Spirit to Comfort, Guide and teach you how to get through it. So, no - God does not descend trials upon us.

Also, when Life and its lessons seem too harsh to bear or get through - Jesus knows how to walk you through it with wonderful lessons of His Own that will raise you up to a higher level of thinking and be-ing. In other words, the thing you consider a harsh trial becomes a Reward for you as you make Jesus and the Holy Spirit your Best Friends and allow Them to lead you to the stepping stones - one at a time - that teach you, and take you through the ';trial'; to completion - feeling like a winner!

So, yes - you can be taken through literally anything and win - through Jesus and the Holy Spirit.
Not, how about some crazy person in hospitals. They can't handle it so they got crazy. How about people die because of starving? they die because they can't hold their suffering.
False. Not everything that comes to you is from God. And other things don't pull any punches... ';death don't have no mercy.';
Yes. I Corinthians 10:13: ';No temptation has seized you except what is common to man. And God is faithful, he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, he will also provide a way out so that you can stand up under it.';
true

in the end you learn from you mistakes in life
Most of the time, the statement is true. For those who commit suicide, the statement is false. So the answer is ultimately no. But I also believe God has His reasons for this to be the case.
false. simple, god is a fictional character.
It's true.

You would die if He gave you too much, and then you wouldn't have it anymore, would you?
True. All things work together for good to them that love God. Romans 8:28

Knowing that, we know that God never allows anything in our lives that we can't handle. Some people, Christians particularly, need to know and remember that.
Not only false, but ridiculous and insulting.

Think about all the people who have died in wars over religion and other ethnic-bloodletting - how well do you suppose they coped as they were having their limbs lopped off. It's insulting to their memories to say that god gave them that suffering and that he thought they should be able to handle it.

And, for Christians, I imagine it's insulting to god to say that he goes around handing out suffering.
i believe in this statement,why?bcause their is light (or some sort of way to get out)at the end of every tunnel,the same can b said about life u jus hafta hang on .now i know some r gonna say people kill themselves,get mad depressed etc but it depends on the person n how much faith r belief they hav that there will b a brighter tomorrow n it depends too on if they r gonna sit n get knocked around r get up n push back!
That should read God will never give you anything you cannot handle with out giving you the means to handle it. He may test you to the max but with that test if you stay true to God he will deliver you, it may be after death but he will deliver you. It does not however say that you will be able to handle it with out him or with out help.
True. ';God is never going to give you too much you can not handle.';
Yes. because it is mentioned in the Quran
FALSE: Just go to a childrens cancer ward and ask those INNOCENT, DYING children the same question. Face it, if there is a god, one of the following is true:

1. he has no control over what happens on this earth.

2. he does have control, in which case he is a sadistic ruler who enjoys the suffering of little children.
TRUE. I believe in the Bible. With ALL MY HEART.

1 Corinthians 10:13 - ';No temptation has taken you except what is common to men. But God is faithful, and he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear, but along with temptation he will also make the way out in order for you to be able to endure it.';

This scripture is not saying that people are not going to suffer, or have mental illnesses....... We ALL inherited those things due to Adam and Eve's episode in the Garden of Eden. So, in regards to temptations (desires of the world that God detests), God WILL provide and make sure we can handle it........ Who said that IT will be easy?
There is no god
False... Because if he is never going to give me too much that I can't handle then I would've continued to believe in him. However, my life is still crummy and I still have severe depression and if God thinks that's enough for me to handle then he can go screw himself for keeping me like this...

Don't get offended people! I don't hate on you or your religion but the statement is rather moronic.
Oh, He may give you too much, but He is there to help you handle it.
false.

if it were true mental breakdowns and suicide would not exist.
If you make choices with your ';free will'; , leaving God out of your decision , it is at that time that you think you have been given ';more than you can handle';, and relate your failure to God , in fact is was not Gods` choice , but your own that gave you ';more than you can handle';. The flesh cannot accept the fact that there is not someone else to blame for their decision , and then they look to God , asking why have I been given ';more than I can handle';.. If you make choices , and God is involved in the choices and you find yourself in the ';valley';, then the choice is the learning process of being a Christian so as to be a better servant for God ..As a Christian you will ';walk through the valleys'; with complete faith in the knowledge that you are learning as you go to the ';mountain top';.. 1 Corinthians 14:32 For God is not the author of confusion , but of peace , as in all churches of the saints .... TRUE !!!
True... Kinda... No matter what it is, he gets us through... if we let him... We can't do it on our own, be he can...
False because God is just another fake creation by man.

Humanity has created many Gods, for example 鈥?Gods of Olympus, Ancient Egypt, Babylon and so on. Most of us are atheists about most Gods humanity has created, except the latest craze, the current God in the Bible. Learned atheists have also rejected this version of a God, but some hard-core believers still hang on, presumably until a better image of God is created by man.

Faith in God seems to be nothing more than humans attempting to run away from reality, an excuse to avoid thinking and evaluating evidence. Faith is just an emotional escape and really just a substitute for opening your eyes to reason.

Believers talk about God creating man in his own image. It鈥檚 in the Bible so it鈥檚 fact 鈥?get a grip, get real. The facts suggest the exact opposite. Man created God in his own image. I鈥檓 sure humanity will disregard this God, as they have disregarded all previous Gods, it鈥檚 just a matter of time before humanity creates another God that better serves their emotions and image.
