Can u name any country to prove this statement is a false one?

I hered... after India got establshed democracy at once, it never went back to feudalism or colonialism or in to the military force.(in 1975-The prime minister Indira Ghandhi slightly tried to move against democracy/was failure). Many other countries like Briton, France....could not keep democracy.

or can u name any country that has been in democracy for a minimum 60 years?

or can u name any country that didn't go back to the formal mode again, after the establishement of democracy in that country? Can u name any country to prove this statement is a false one?
Democracy is a system of government where no actions are taken without the vote of ';ALL'; the people within it. There has never been a true democracy since man moved out of tribal existence, and became ';civilized';. Even then most tribes had a leader who's opinion carried more weight than the average member of the tribe.

What does exist are what is known as ';republics'; where all of the people within it vote for people to represent them in issues to take action on. This form of government as we know it seems to have originated with the Greek's and was later refined and put into operation by the Roman's.Can u name any country to prove this statement is a false one?
If your trying to separate out a “pure democracy” (whatever that really is) from other forms of democracy, republic, confederation, federation, etc. there are probably few. But if you’re interested in the larger set of “democratic forms of government” there’s several that have lasted more than 60 years. But much more than 200? Nope.
Here's a list of countries with parlimentary democracies or other forms of democracy (constitutional monarchies excluded)..

The United States of America 220+ years

Germany 66/67 years

France 67/68 years
Off the top of my head I can not in modern history anyway.
Loompa Loompa Land has been a democracy for over 2,000 years. It is inhabited by Loompas and is located about 180 miles southeast of the Island of Shangrala. It's population is about 60 and everyone has an equal voice in the decision making process.

This ensures the balance of power and equal distribution of bananas and coconuts. Fish sometimes become a minor problem because they tend to rot while the people are gathered together to take a vote on how to divide them.
The fact of the matter is that any political system that doesn't abuse its people is going to be a lasting one whether it's socialist, communist, or democratic.

The issue is that in almost every circumstance, you end up removing the middle class. That's why communism especially doesn't usually work on a large group. The larger your group, the harder you have to work to keep things equal and the more you seem like a power hungry tyrant to your people even if the system was set up perfectly.

Democracy is great, but any intelligent person can tell you that it doesn't last if it's set up true to its definition. Every person voting on every issue? It's absurd because of sheer numbers. That's why we live in a republic or representative government.

And to be realistic, France and Britain are ruled by Parliament which are voted in place, so it's still technically democracy.

Democracy itself is not the issue, the issue is how it was set up and the follow through it receives. If it is ruled by tyrants or ignorant people, then it, just like anything else, will fail.

To take it a step further, the people of the nation have to have a collective will to make democracy work.
Hello.

Your question is absurd. I can not understand what you are trying to ask. However, in a vague %26amp; desperate effort I will try to answer this question.

After the British left India, the country plunged into total choas. India became a democracy immediately. Today it is the largest democracy in the world!

Secondly, many countries in the world have been governed by the laws of democracy for more than 60 years.

Vinay
ur question is a bit confusing, but i can tell u that indonesia has been a republic ever since it declared its independence from japan in august 17th, 1945....that's 61 years ago....

before the declaration of independence indonesia consisted of many small monarchies spread on its many islands...

the state of democracy throughout the years is argueable, but the govermental form never changed...

hope this helps

^^
The question, unless your meaning of democracy is vastly different from any of the accepted ones, is nonsense.
Your question is rubbish and the statements after it are completely wrong.

The United States has been a fully working democracy for well over 200 years now. In the United Kingdom, since 1688, the monarch has had less power than a president, so the country has in effect been a democracy for over 300 years. In Sweden and Switzerland, they also look back over long periods of democracy or effective democracy, much longer than in India.

There are a number of other countries in Europe with long histories of democracy interrupted only by Nazi conquest in 1940-44, which it is quite disgraceful of you to describe as ';could not keep democracy';.
